When you are logging into Ceridian, you will be prompted to set up Multifactor Authentication (MFA). You can elect to Log out, or, continue with the MFA registration process.
Note, there is no option to bypass MFA registration. You must proceed to get access into Ceridian.
The system will automatically select, Smartphone App (recommended) – please select
SMS Text Message or Voice Call
Click Next
Enter the mobile phone number (NO DASHES) that will be used to verify your identity. You may also check the box to add/include secondary phone number.
Click Next
Select how to receive the code – Click the blue box for either Text Message OR Voice Call
You will be prompted to enter the code given to you via text message or voice call in the blue box. Enter the code into the verification code box.
Click Next
If you see this screen, click Close & Log in
Congratulations! The steps for setting up MFA are now complete, improving the security and safety of your personal information, and the following screen will appear.
Editing or Updating Your Multifactor Authentication Phone Number
From the Ceridian homepage, navigate to the profile link.
Click Profile
Click on the Settings drop-down arrow
Choose Security
Scroll Down to Multifactor Authentication and click Edit
You will then begin the process of setting up Multifactor Authentication with your new information. Follow steps 1-7 of Ceridian Multifactor User Registration found at the beginning of this document.
